Cherokee County, Ga. is seeking a highly qualified team playe to lead a county government agency serving more than 300,000 residents. The current County Manager has served the county for 25 years and has been County Manager since 2021. Cherokee County is located 30 miles north of Atlanta and is one of the fastest growing counties in the metro-Atlanta region.

As the Chief Administrative Officer of the County, the County Manager provides executive leadership and overall direction to County Agency Directors, Department Directors, and staff, including providing guidance and recommendations to the Board of Commissioners on policies and procedures, administering the annual budget, and working with elected officials, and citizen groups.
