Putnam County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Code Enforcement Officer in the Planning and Development office. This position will be responsible for enforcing Putnam County ordinances relating to signs, manufactured homes, residential and commercial building codes, erosion and sediment control, zoning, logging and occupational registration. Additional duties may include building inspection assistance. The successful applicant must have knowledge of Putnam County ordinances; skill in public relations; skill in preparing technical reports and correspondence; skill in planning and organizing work and scheduling to accomplish all assigned tasks.

 This is a full-time position, and compensation will be based on qualifications, and the current county pay scale.
