The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of three (3) years experience in accounting or financial management, preferably from a governmental organization. We will consider candidates without a degree if they have a strong accounting/financial background.

 
The Deputy Finance Director will manage the County's financial affairs, service as the primary source of knowledge on the proper application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP). Responsibilities also include but are not limited to, supervising the various accounting functional areas which include, accounting, grants, purchasing, accounts payable, property accounting, revenue and receivable, cash and financial reporting.
