NOTICE OF JOB OPENING

The McIntosh County Board of Commissioners is currently accepting applications for a full-time Building Inspector / Code Enforcement Officer for the Building and Zoning Division. Applicants must hold ICC/IBC certification and should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in building inspection or a related field. Candidates must be computer proficient and able to utilize municipal permitting and task management software daily. Responsibilities include inspecting properties and construction sites, investigating code complaints, issuing citations, and working with property owners to resolve violations. All applicants must be able to pass a criminal background investigation and drug screen. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED. Applications may be obtained at the McIntosh County Commissioners’ Office located at 1200 Northway, Darien, GA or online at www.mcintoshcountyga.com. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
